Bradford Horn-blowing custom.

An interesting memento of feudal times is the tradition of the wild Boar of Cliffe Wood, which together with a singular tenure by horn-blowing granted by John of Gaunt to one John Northrop of Manningham and his heirs, gave rise to the crest and charges of the Bradford Coat-of-arms.

what is interesting from our point of view about this particular image is the Castle at the back, we wonder where it was situated in Bradford.
