This tram in 1938 is on the road coming out of the works yard at Thornbury.

Thank you Janice for the updated info. [Ted]

Another email has arrived bringing more information about this particular picture to our attention.

It reads.

Just a note to let you know that the tram leaving Thornbury Works, is not leaving at all.
The photo was taken in 1959 The tram was 104 which is now in Bradford Industrial Museum. It was rescued by Stanley King and the late John Pitts and ran on special open days on a length of track between Leeds Road and the works entrance. As you can see there is a Morris Minor in the picture and also a large Rover which I believe belonged to the General Manager Mr C.T. Humpidge.

I am the person hanging out of the right hand side of the tram
