tram in 1938 is on the road coming out of the works yard at Thornbury.

Another email has
arrived bringing more information about this particular picture to our
attention.
It reads.
Just a note to let you know that the tram leaving
Thornbury Works, is not leaving at all.
The photo was taken in 1959 The tram was 104 which
is now in Bradford Industrial Museum. It was rescued by Stanley King and the
late John Pitts and ran on special open days on a length of track between
Leeds Road and the works entrance. As you can see there is a Morris Minor in
the picture and also a large Rover which I believe belonged to the General
Manager Mr C.T. Humpidge.
